Welcome to the Krome Avenue Website. This site will provide you with detailed information about the projects along Krome Avenue, which are being developed and implemented to enhance safety and mobility along this important corridor. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans to expand Krome Avenue from two to four lanes with a 40-foot median. The 36-mile corridor has been divided into 12 separate projects.
